Biography

Bonfanti's works contain a depth of soul and emotion that generates questions about human beings and their weaknesses. Its theme revolves around the nude, whether seated, standing, or curled up. We do not distinguish any face in his bodies. It creates a silent scene. He transcribes the subtleties of man, whether in his representation or in the material he uses. Her painting, which becomes irregular and matte under her fingers, embodies skin damaged by wounds and by time. Indeed, he is challenged by the reflections of modern man, in his current expectations and aspirations, which he transcribes with a very contemporary energy on the canvas.

Since 1978, Bonfanti's works have been exhibited in numerous personal and collective exhibitions, in Italy and abroad, earning him great success in Europe and the United States.
