Giuseppe Fortunato nato a Notaresco (Teramo il 05 novembre 1956

Biography

Giuseppe Fortunato was born in Notaresco (Italy) on November 5, 1956. His artistic experience developed from an early age: he exhibited in his first personal exhibition at the age of only 27. Since the 1980s, he has been known for his participation in the most important art exhibitions in the national territory and on the other side of the border.

His artistic production was certainly contaminated at the time by metaphysical painting and later by elements of surrealism. In the eighties, an important step in his development comes from the meeting with the Master of the new Italian figuration Remo Brindisi, from which he will perceive this artistic lymph which will come from an incessant impulse, even if it does not follow not pictorial styles.

At the end of the 1980s, he led the Images movement with other artists from Abruzzo. Giuseppe always goes back to a conceptual art that he will never abandon, based on the analysis of the relationship between materials, spaces and colors. In 2013, the Fortunato Foundation was born. It is mainly committed to promoting, archiving and distributing the artistic production of Maestro Fortunato, which also includes cultural activities bringing together different attitudes and cultures. The Foundation participated in Arte Pordenone in May 2013 with a personal exhibition on "Colate" by Maestro Fortunato.

Fortunato's work lies in the pleasure of focusing on the search for emotions that are never trivial or superficial. This creative artist, with an unlimited imagination, met with great success in Italy from the start of his career, then in the United Kingdom in 2014 as well as in Germany. It is also selected by CAM's Critical Committee, which since 1986 has been considered the Bible of Art.

Painter, sculptor and designer, his evolution of figurative expression, with a surreal flavor, ends up culminating in his point of arrival "Colate", This colored glaze released on large flat spaces.
