Yuri Romagnoli (Hopnn)

Yuri Romagnoli is an Italian artist born in Ancona in 1981. As a teenager, he was passionate about the art of graffiti which allows him to reapproach space. After exploring different techniques and all kinds of supports, he decided to free himself from the codes and the rules at work in this universe, and began a collection of monumental mural frescoes. From 2005 to 2008, he studied drawing, serigraphy, engraving and linocut in the school of Fine Arts of Rome. He currently lives and works in Paris.

Yuri Romagnoli continues to paint the walls of the major world metropolises, such as New York, Paris, Berlin, London, and Barcelona. His work is committed, in favor of ecology. The bicycle is a recurrent motif in his creations.
From 2006 to 2008, he worked with illustrators and published a monthly fanzine titled "Il Piatto". During the Pop-up festival of 2009-2010, he painted on the boats of the port of Ancona. He is the co-founder and technical and artistic director of the gallery of art "Laszlo Biro", whose purpose is to promote street art in Rome and in Italy. Yuri Romagnoli also teaches the techniques of street art ocassionally to teenagers in Paris and Rome.
