Retne lives in Druskininkai, a small, quiet seaside resort in Lithuania.

He draws his inspiration from abstract expressionism artists such as Willem De Kooning, Jackson Pollock and Joan Miro. Retne can be fascinated by the biography, and the technique used by an artist, and implement it in his own art, in his own way. He is also an entertainer with a strong emphasis on magic and multimedia, which permeates his work regularly.
