Biography
Jess Hon es un fotógrafo malayo nacido en 1957 que vive y trabaja en Kuala Lumpur, Malasia. Jess lleva 18 años fotografiando paisajes. Hasta la fecha ha tomado unas 23.000 fotografías, 16.000 de ellas en los últimos cinco años.
Está en su naturaleza ver el lado bonito de las cosas y, por eso, no tarda en detectar cosas y vistas que son bellas y únicas. A la hora de fotografiar, se centra sobre todo en interpretar la iluminación natural y la composición.
Es colaborador acreditado de Shutterstock, una de las dos mayores tiendas de fotografía en línea del mundo. Participó en el Festival de Fotografía de Kuala Lumpur en septiembre de 2022. Participa regularmente en el concurso anual de fotografía organizado por Smithsonian Magazine.
El artista está más interesado en la fotografía de paisaje y presta especial atención a captar imágenes desde ángulos inusuales y crear composiciones únicas.
