Biography
Born in 1966 in Martinique where he grew up and lives. After photography school, Robert Charlotte did industrial and publicity photography in Paris for 10 years, all the while keeping an eye on photo report and illustration...
He got back to Martinique in 1994 and worked there. Due to his major passion for painting, he tried to explore this form of pictorial expression through photography and participated in several collective exhibitions and later on individual ones in France and the Caribbean. Through several publications, Robert Charlotte met and created portraits of painter artists in the Caribbean.
