Biography
Ernest Nkwocha is a Nigerian artist, member of the SNA of Nigeria (Society of Nigeria Artists) and SCAN (Sculptors association of Nigeria).
He specialises in animal sculptures on a scale of one or more, modelled from used tyres that he collects in his home town, Lagos.
He thus contributes to giving an ecological meaning to his art in a city where, for him, the environment is a growing problem with regard to uncontrolled urbanisation.
