Biography
Ewa Juszkiewicz is a Polish painter based in Warsaw. She graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow in 2013. Through the artistic medium of portraiture, Juszkiewicz responds to the conventional representation of woman's beauty in traditional European painting. In this way, her work has been recognized for its unorthodox and rebellious thematic explorations, through a pictorial mastery of traditional technique.
The artist's work remains in the permanent collections of museums in her native Poland, including the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw and the National Museum in Gdańsk. She has also exhibited her art at solo and duo showcases across Europe.
