Flaviu Pop

The artist, ranging from Painting, Ceramics, Sculpture, creates extremely detailed works that depict worlds where reality and fantasy coexist, both merging elements of the tangible world to that of the supernatural world, and representing, environments and characters (known artists, for example) in the same painting, as to portray the excerpts of the memory of humanity', shared, in part, by the memory of the artist himself.

Another theme to which the artist often devotes himself is the contemporary society, constantly subjected to stress and almost forced to a continuous movement, to a constant productivity, where there's no room to express the feelings of each individual. Flaviu Pop paints with small overlapping strokes, which bring his research closer to that, historically known, of artists dear to him, such as Van Gogh, Manet, Monet and several painters of French Impressionism, as well as Futurism. The tones, however, are soft, and they are typical of Flaviu Pop's painting.
