Biography

Olga Kosheleva, born in 1966 in Omsk, is a renowned painter and graphic artist, member of both the Union of Artists of Russia and the National Union of Pastel Painters. Her artistic journey began at the Department of Fine Arts and Graphics of the State Pedagogical Institute in Omsk, where she studied from 1986 to 1991 — a period that coincided with the emergence of the first informal artist associations in her hometown. This creative atmosphere of renewal profoundly shaped her style and artistic development.

Artistic Language

Olga Kosheleva's work is distinguished by a clear, reduced formal language, intense colour saturation, and a strong degree of abstraction. Rather than depicting traditional landscapes, she creates her own symbolic spaces — a kind of "encoded" landscape formula that goes far beyond mere representation. Her works reflect a unique and unmistakable artistic vision that moves beyond the ordinary.

Artistic Development

Already during her studies, Olga Kosheleva began painting her first easel works and joined the informal artist group "Pulse". Her passion and talent later led her to the artist groups "PULSIC" and "M ART", where she participated in numerous exhibitions from 1991 to 1997. Over the past twenty years, she has continued to refine her artistic signature and has devoted herself entirely to the fascinating technique of pastel.
