Carmen Cañadas

Visual artist. Self-taught, 23 years in the field of teaching. Trained in Gestalt therapy and art therapy, emotional intelligence, dyslexia and Tda, she is Co-founder of the Arimunani educational project. Promoter of the artistic project Joanart Calvià 2016, 2017 and 2018. Promoter of good artistic practices in the Calvià City Council. Co-founder of the artistic collective Ou Vert. Other data of interest. The daughter of artists and the second daughter of four brothers, she grew up among paint cans and books.

She is self-taught and with concerns in the field of research, psychology, philosophy and teaching. She was a painter by vocation and condition, at the age of fourteen she made commissioned portraits and at sixteen she held her first painting exhibition. She has been teaching, regulated teaching and workshops for twenty-seven years.
