Carlos Arriaga (b.1958) is very urbanite, and very interested in Madrid, New York and London, cities where he received much of his artistic training. Arriaga's field of artistic work has always been around the experimentation between painting and photography with very different techniques and subjects. Photographer from a young age, he has worked for the best magazines and advertising agencies of national level and has made professional trips to more than 30 countries of the world. Carlos Arriaga has also been a director of photography of several documentaries and commercial films. He has worked in parallel with painting and photography until 2015, when he discovered the technique of oil painting on black and white photography, at last his two passions united in one. He currently lives and works in Torrelodones, Madrid, with his wife and four children.
