Eloy Morales is a Spanish painter born in 1973 in Madrid. He studied painting at the Complutense University of Madrid and began his artistic career in the 1990s.
His paintings are mainly hyperrealistic portraits, often made in large format. Eloy Morales is known for his skillful use of light, color and texture to create striking and emotional images.
The production of "David" in 2007, a large-format oil on canvas portrait of his brother smeared with shaving foam, which marked a turning point in his career: the brilliance of the thick cottony substance gave him the idea for the series of self-portraits which will make him known to the general public with resounding success: "La pintura in my cabeza" or "Paint in my Head" was born.
Since then, he has exhibited many of his works in galleries and museums around the world, notably in the United States, Mexico, Germany, England, the Netherlands, Spain and France…
Today, Eloy Morales is considered one of the most important hyperrealist painters of his generation, and his work is widely recognized for its technical quality and stunning visual impact.
