Some people are born with a capacity they don't know they have. Talent can remain hidden for years until one day it sprouts. This is the case of Maria Argüelles, who could not go against her nature and began to paint and draw.
Portraying bodies, regardless or not the will of the artist, they invade surfaces, without asking permission slip and fill spaces with their whimsical presence. She is available to the human figure, strokes and plays with different colors, creates atmospheres for each, sometimes whole bodies, sometimes restless legs or torsos. They crave to get out of the pages or any support. They are alive, no one can ever catch them, they are free.
