Biography

Born in Zurich in 1968, Boris Dondé-Mancastroppa began his career as a professional footballer before dedicating himself entirely to the world of art in 1996 — a passion inherited from his uncle Daniele, a pioneer of Faux Art.

Boris enriched his artistic vision through international experience and his studies at the New York Academy. Over time, he has reinterpreted and evolved the artistic language of his uncle and mentor, breathing new life and a contemporary direction into the movement at the dawn of the new millennium.

After nearly twenty years managing galleries and organizing international events, Boris officially took over the DondeArt brand in 2020, following his uncle's retirement. Today, Boris Dondé is the active artist and creative director of DondeArt Gallery, presenting and promoting works worldwide through permanent spaces and temporary exhibitions in Europe—including Monte Carlo, Zurich, Basel, and Lugano.
