Presentation

Priska Wallimann was born in Lucerne, lulled by the enchantment of the city both by its baroque architecture and by its attachment to the lake and the mountains that surround it.

Lithographer and graphic designer by training, her sensitivity and her curiosity propel her like a violent passion in the world of art whose expression can cover both drawing and photography,

this one giving it a modern dimension, of a woman artist well anchored in her time.

Her deep blue gaze, which she could have stolen from Lake Lucerne, is precise and curiously ordered. She captures what surrounds her then restores freedom in a 360° movement that only photography can magnify.

But the real freedom is in the Mediterranean that she finds it, on the wild beaches of the Camargue and where she invites us with poetry to project ourselves into the immensity and to admire compositions of the planet earth as never seen.

The series "Time stops" is like a breath that is held back to better admire the beauty of the work.
