Biography
Baki Bodur is a Turkish painter who was born in 1992 in Antalya. He studied at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Antalya before turning to painting. He then completed his academic career at the Faculty of Fine Arts in 2014.
Baki Bodur's canvases are animated with movement. Opposed to the static and fixed structured of painting, the artist in fact uses natural elements to give energy and dynamism to his creations. Waves for example give a sense to his painting, by unifiying it in a homogeneous ensemble in perpetual evolution. From this quest for movement is born the illusion of relief: the depth of the oceans, the surface of the sea, the horizon in the dark night...Baki Bodur's universe is calm and incites to contemplation.
Baki Bodur exhibits her work in Turkey as well as in Spain and France, including at the "Art' et Miss" Gallery in 2006.
