Biography
Issy Wood is a British painter. Born in America in 1993, Wood's multimedia compositions are imbued with nostalgia, as she derives images from her body, old catalogs and her family's possessions.
Wood has held solo exhibitions in London, Beijing, New York and Vienna and her work belongs to the permanent collections of the Fondation Louis Vuitton, Paris, the Institute of Contemporary Art, Miami, and the Tate, London. Alongside her artistic pursuits, Wood is also a musician.
