Biography
Sian draws much of her inspiration from time spent in nature, particularly along coastlines and in the mountains. Her expressive and intuitive paintings often depict the Welsh landscape, as well as scenes from Scotland, Cornwall, and Ireland. Working both outdoors and in her studio, she responds to the energy of a place through bold mark-making, rich textures, and layered colour. Using brushes, palette knives, and even her fingertips, she embraces spontaneity in her process—allowing each painting to unfold organically and capture the spirit of the landscape.
