Presentation

Sumo is a Luxembourgish painter coming from street art. After studying at the Lycée des Arts et Métiers in Luxembourg and at the London College of Printing, he quickly acquired a growing reputation in the region. He directed Hollerich's "Hall of Fame" in collaboration with Spike and Stick, he also painted on many walls beyond the borders of Luxembourg.

The style of the artist is easily recognizable, whatever the technique or the support. We cannot dissociate his work from his incredible palette of colors as bright as brilliant, recalling the great hours of Pop Art. Moreover, it is not only its colors that remind us this movement of the late 50s, but also the recurring presence of messages and references from the popular imagination: comics, films, ads from the end of the 20th century.
