Lotti Cole is an English painter, born in 1973.
After receiving an MA degree in Art History from St Andrews University, Lottie decided to moved to Luoyang, Henan Province, China to teach English for a year.
Lotti Cole gets her inspiration from the place where she was born, Sussex. Her work reflects her interest for color, since bright colors invade all of her canvases. In the background of her paintings we can see, subjects from the literature of the Bloomsbury group of writers: Virginia Woolf, Vanessa Bell, Duncan Grant.
Since her graduation Lottie has continued to paint and work as an illustrator, she has work for several cultural institutions as well, including the National Portrait Gallery and the Dulwich Picture Gallery.
