Biography

Joanna Layla is a fashion illustrator and contemporary artist based in London.

Working and collaborating with the fashion industry since its inception, Joanna is passionate about this universe and more particularly about her role in communication concerning sustainable and environmental challenges. This is reflected in her recent editorial work like her mission as a lecturer at the London College of Fashion as well as in her collaborations with sustainable fashion brands such as ELV Denim and in her recent exhibitions with Cluster Illustration in London. Joanna was selected last February for the FIDA Worldwide Gold Award (Fashion Illustration Drawing Awards). After several successful exhibitions in London in 2019, the year 2020 sees the recognition of Joanna internationally as an emerging artist with debuts long awaited in France (Acid Gallery) as well as in Sweden and London.
