Artist Statement:

I am a bit of a late bloomer.
I have always been a lover of art, but never a maker of art. And then, somehow, in the second half of my life and with no formal training, I am an abstract artist.
I'm learning every day and I love the process.

Artistic Influences:

I am influenced by the process of painting - I paint until it feels right, never knowing in advance what the final results will be. I am a planner by habit in the rest of my daily life so it is a great relief to get the paint on my tools and simply let go.
