Biography
Artist Statement:
Like many people, I've always loved being near or on the water. For some reason water, especially the sea, stirs something deep in my soul. I'm an avid sailor, and sailing provides endless inspiration for my marine paintings.
When I'm not painting water scenes, I love painting portraits, especially from life. Painting the human figure from life is as pleasurable for me as being on the water.
All of my painting are executed in oil, and are inspired with my firsthand experiences with nature.
