Biography
Samantha Roth is an American visual artist, born in New York City in 1981. Now based in Los Angeles, California, the artist trained at University of Southern California before graduating with an MFA in 2010. Roth’s large-scale artworks are rendered in colored pencil on black-gessoed paper, depicting everyday situations and the oftentimes melancholic aspects of life in the 21st century.
Roth’s work has been featured in exhibitions across the United States Jancar Jones in Los Angeles, California; Pepin Moore in Los Angeles, California; and Harkawik in New York City.
