Oksana's figurative practice centers on two recurring subjects: animals and flowers. In her animal portraits, cats, dogs, and birds become individual characters, often dressed in elaborate clothing, jewelry, or flowers. Formal poses and dark backgrounds are balanced by humor and theatricality, giving familiar animals an unexpected human presence.

Her botanical works reveal a more symbolic side of the same practice. Oksana enlarges and transforms flowers, using their shapes, openings, and rhythms to suggest attraction, intimacy, and the relationship between masculine and feminine energies. Erotic associations remain deliberately indirect, embedded within organic forms rather than stated literally.

Across both bodies of work, Oksana is interested in transformation. Animals acquire personality and social presence; flowers become carriers of human emotion and desire. Through recognizable imagery, saturated color, and playful shifts in meaning, she turns the natural world into a space for exploring affection, character, attraction, and the emotional connections between living beings.
