Alina Teva

Teva Alina is a contemporary figurative artist based in Miami, Florida. She received The Best Artist award at Travel to Art World in 2023 and was invited to serve as a jury member for Travel to Art 2026 in Miami.
Working primarily in oil, Alina focuses on the female figure as a way to explore emotional states rather than individual narratives. Years of working closely with women and listening to their personal stories shaped her sensitivity to experiences of vulnerability, doubt, inner struggle, fear, and acceptance.

At the center of Alina’s practice is the belief that beauty and meaning do not have to compete. Her paintings are visually inviting, yet their emotional tension often lies beneath the surface. Rather than illustrating a specific event, she focuses on the moment when something begins to shift internally.

Her ongoing Transformation series examines periods of change that initially feel uncertain or painful but can later reveal themselves as sources of growth. Through contemporary figurative painting, Alina explores transformation from the inside, treating difficult emotional states not simply as crises, but as thresholds between one version of the self and another.
