Antonio Briceño is one of Venezuela's most important photographic artists, whose central theme is the human being in his environment. He transforms the cosmogony and mythology of Latin American indigenous peoples into a subjective iconography that emerges from the dialogue between contemporary art and ethnology and the medium of photography.
