Description
This artwork conveys emotional depth through a minimalist, text-based approach. Using hair removal wax and her own body hair, the artist inscribes the words "one day MORE" and "one day less" in pink, capturing the essence of time and human duality. In the center, a triangular shape draws the eye and seems to symbolize a peak, a balance between gain and loss. The vaporous, cloudy texture in the background creates a dreamlike impression, contrasting with the defined lines of the text. The combination of soft colors and thick material gives the work a light yet imposing presence. This piece encourages reflection on the perception of time and the impact of passing days, while also being a tribute to the transience of existence. A masterpiece that connects simplicity and depth.
With One More Day, Miguelan offers a reflection on the value of each moment. The work, shaped like a pyramid, symbolizes the evolution of the human being, from childhood to old age, in a continuous movement.
Using wax and his own hair, the artist physically records his time on earth, reminding us that life always leaves traces. His signature, hidden behind it, appears reflected on the wall, like melting ice: a metaphor for the passage of time.
For Miguelan, life is precious and fragile. Each day is a stone added to our existence, and we must fully savor its richness.
