Description
What catches the eye is the explosion of bright and saturated colours, ranging from bright yellows to deep blues and vibrant reds, which are arranged to form two nested circles, recalling the uninterrupted loop of infinity. The choice of colours is not arbitrary; each shade seems to flow naturally into the next, creating an almost hypnotic visual harmony. This chromatic continuity evokes themes of cycle, continuity and regeneration, inherent to the number 8 and the idea of infinity. The nuances blend together fluidly, suggesting perpetual movement and constant dynamism. It is a creation that captures the eye.
Presentation
Eric Gouret creates works where perspective, manipulation, and gesture hold an important place. His practice in drawing and installation is closely linked to the world of play. He has a sort of fascination with color, patterns, and collecting. Eric Gouret constantly renews our approach to the world and the everyday by continually reimagining hypotheses of language that emerge through form, color, encounter, or collaboration with others.
