Description
This captivating artwork presents an explosion of vibrant colors in a circular form. Shades of red, pink, orange, and white unfold into irregular and dynamic petals, creating a visual harmony. The central, empty core draws the eye inward, evoking a sense of depth and mystery. Each color, applied with precision, contrasts beautifully while blending delicately with the adjacent hues.
The technique, achieved by leaving colored markers to rest on paper for several days, allows for chance and the unexpected within the creative process. This color arrangement makes the work a remarkable example of abstraction, where geometric simplicity blends with chromatic complexity.
Presentation
Eric Gouret creates works where perspective, manipulation, and gesture hold an important place. His practice in drawing and installation is closely linked to the world of play. He has a sort of fascination with color, patterns, and collecting. Eric Gouret constantly renews our approach to the world and the everyday by continually reimagining hypotheses of language that emerge through form, color, encounter, or collaboration with others.
