Alyona Masterkova is an artist whose work explores themes of identity, memory, and emotional introspection. She creates symbolic portraits using mixed media painting and drawing techniques, often incorporating textured surfaces and stencils. Masterkova's art reflects on solitude, childhood impressions, and the search for personal meaning. In 2000, Alyona Masterkova graduated from St. Tikhon's Orthodox University with a degree in Monumental Painting, specializing in mosaics.
In 2023, she participated in the Contemporary Art program at the HSE School of Design.
Among her numerous group exhibitions, notable highlights include "Fullness" (an exhibition by the art association "Iskrennie") at the Tushino Gallery of the Moscow Exhibition Halls Association, and "Immersion" at the GLUBINA Gallery of Contemporary Art.
In 2022, Alyona Masterkova was awarded 1st place in the "World of Art" exhibition-competition at the New Tretyakov Gallery in Moscow.
Currently, she is working on the "Fluctuations" series of portraits, exploring themes of childhood memories and coming-of-age.
