"Fractured Self" - Monochromatic Stippling Drawing Exploring Identity, 15x15 cm
Presenting "Fractured Self," a striking original artwork that masterfully employs the stippling technique in ink on cotton paper (15x15 cm). This piece engages viewers with its innovative approach to figurative abstraction, portraying multiple fragmented faces. The artwork cleverly explores themes of selfhood, memory, and the journey toward personal integration, suggesting that perceived divisions are, in fact, portals to new dimensions of understanding. It's an elegant commentary on the layered nature of human experience, rendered with precision and artistic insight. Ideal for collectors seeking impactful contemporary art that offers both aesthetic beauty and intellectual depth, "Fractured Self" is a testament to the artist's unique vision. Its powerful monochromatic palette and intricate detail make it a standout addition to any curated collection or a distinguished gift. Perfectly suited for enhancing modern interior design, this artwork promises to be a captivating focal point and a constant source of meaningful reflection.

Iana Cherepansky (b. 1987, Krasnoyarsk) is a artist, member of SABA. She holds an MFA with honors in Monumental Decorative Sculpture from the Hvorostovsky Siberian Institute of Arts, and studied Motion Design at the British School of Design. Winner of the ALL Women Artist Award (USA, 2021) and SABA, her works are held in the Yelabuga State Museum. She lectured at the British School of Design and Scream School. Specializing in black-and-white pointillism, she explores the meditative nature of manual technique.
With a background in digital motion design and monumental sculpture, she approaches drawing as a tactile antidote to screen fatigue and digital overload. Her works are created through thousands of hand-applied ink dots—each one a deliberate, mindful gesture.
Transforming digital concepts and 3D sketches into analog images, Cherepansky explores the materiality of time and attention. Her minimalist, monochrome compositions evoke spectral figures, abstract forms, or botanical traces, inviting the viewer into a slow, contemplative experience. For Cherepansky, pointillism is not simply a technique, but a meditative ritual—an act of resistance against the rapid pace of modern visual culture.
