Description
A refined, minimalist nature awakens beneath the artist’s brush. The eye follows the verticality of slender trunks, their lines reaching upward toward a pale sky. Soft green dominates the composition, evoking the renewal and freshness of spring.
The linework is precise. The technique combines watercolor with pencil and pigmented ink, the mediums interweaving to create a subtle sense of depth. Touches of blue and mauve structure the background, suggesting the shadows and dampness of the forest floor. The approach oscillates between abstraction and landscape, resulting in an ethereal quality. The composition is organized around a luminous center where the vegetation seems to vibrate, while the roots anchor themselves into a rhythmic, graphic foundation.
This piece captures the fragile moment of a seasonal transition. The transparency of the pigments lends a visual lightness. It is created on a linden wood panel, mounted with hemp paper, and set against a white paper background—the clarity of which enhances the brightness of the spring hues. This work was created in 2026.
