Description
Winter Punksis a nostalgic, surrealist tribute to lost youth, rebellion, and the eternal echo of subculture. In this intricate winter scene, time loops like a Möbius strip—skaters, punks, and elders traverse a frosted dreamland where past and future spiral in poetic symmetry.
Rendered in icy hues and crystalline detail, the composition features defiant figures in tartan, leather, and lace—visual nods to the legacy of Vivienne Westwood and the raw energy of punk style. Skating dogs, rotating horizons, and whimsical geometry challenge gravity and perception, freezing moments of joy and rebellion into a wearable myth.
A reflection on aging, memory, and spirit, Winter Punks asks: do we ever truly grow up, or just find new ways to shout "Oi!" beneath softer snow?
We drank, sang and laughed, full of joy,
Shouted loudly: "Punks, oi!"
But time passed, and with a sigh,
We suddenly grew up - why, oh why?
Presentation
My art bridges fine art and fashion, creating silk-printed designs that serve as both adornments and conversation pieces. Each piece holds a narrative—mysterious yet familiar—inviting the viewer into layered interpretations of dreams, memories, and shifting realities. By playing with spatial and temporal distortions, I aim to evoke a sense of timelessness. Wearing my designs allows the observer to experience an additional, personal dimension—strengthening or distancing connections but never leaving anyone indifferent.
