Description
Presentation
We are invaded by images but their proliferation masks our proximity. My photos bring closer the vision of what surrounds us and find a harmony in the details, which, created by the degradation of the materials, gives birth to a work close to the painting that I capture to expose it to the eyes.
What interests me in this work is to flirt at the border between matter and photography which, by removing the detail from the context, reveals a new, resolutely graphic reality. It demonstrates that the immediate surface is not everything, which led me to call my work "photographisme". A vision of the graphic elements beneath an object, both aesthetic and intellectual, showing the transformation of natural and industrial matter under the action of the elements.
The photographic act becomes a tool for research and understanding of a world, of a nature that I try to apprehend. My photographs do not demonstrate anything, but I hope they open a door in the viewer's imagination.
