This vibrant still life painting captures a mesmerizing composition of ripe fruit and a decorative green jug, placed against a dynamic backdrop of a multi-colored, striped fabric. The artwork showcases an abundance of round, juicy plums cascading across the foreground, with a cluster occupying the jug's neck, drawing the eye upward. The fruits are rendered with vivid hues, their smooth surfaces reflecting light, creating a lifelike sense of freshness and texture. The jug, adorned with intricate floral designs, complements the luscious green tones of the fruit foliage. Presentation
Born on August 24, 1946 to the family of the famous Kyiv artist Petr Ivanovich Babak (1922-1973).
In 1976 he graduated from the Kharkov Art and Industrial Institute, department of industrial graphics. Studied in the workshop of Egorov and Professor Vikhtinsky
During his studies, he received several awards for participating in poster competitions.
Since 1999, he has taken part in regional and all-Ukrainian exhibitions and plein airs.
The artist's personal exhibitions were held in Kharkov (1998, 2002, 2007, 2017), Germany (1999), Krasnograd (2003), Lvov (2009).
Diploma winner of the international plein air dedicated to the 160th anniversary of the birth of I.E. Repin
Since 2003 Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine
The works of Vyacheslav Babak are in museums of Ukraine (Krasnograd, Chuguev), as well as in private collections in Ukraine, Russia, Germany, USA, Spain, Israel.

Vyacheslav Babak is a recognized master of landscape painting. The artist's canvases are filled with lyricism and romantic mood.
His color palette is devoid of excessive expressiveness; in almost every painting, the image of nature is depicted using the quiet “sound" of soft halftones, giving lightness and depth.
