Description
The balance is established through a rigorous composition. The gaze follows sharp lines and precise angles. A geometric structure unfolds on a deep purple background.
This acrylic painting explores abstract calligraphy. The line becomes architecture. The influence of minimalism is felt in the economy of means. Only two hues oppose each other to create a constant visual rhythm. The precision of the stroke evokes a search for stability and symmetry.
The artist uses a mathematical approach here to translate a pure emotion. Each segment fits together exactly. The chromatic contrast emphasizes the strength of the drawing. The canvas has a matte finish where the material fades behind the rigor of the form. The whole stabilizes on a square format.
Presentation
Fadieses has always enjoyed drawing, but Life decided to make him go through the position of surveyor operator first. It was in his fifties that he chose to realize his childhood dream by settling down as a painter, thanks in part to the drastic restrictions due to Covid 19.
“He does Contemporary and Abstract to let people's sensitivity relate to Figurative" As Fadiese is curious, he tried different techniques: Drawing, Painting, Sculpture, Engraving, Illumination, Calligraphy, Marbling. These main influences are Vasarely, Duchamp, Mondrian, Klimt, Léger. He specialized in regular geometry, using only primary, secondary, and tertiary colors. On all supports: Plastic, Wood, Recycled Metal, Canvas, Cardboard etc…
One last thing: when he did his military service
(contingent 87/12), a music lover colleague nicknamed him Fadiese, and if like him, you haven't found out why, it turns out that it is the note closest to Sol! He found his strong, very nice humor and adopted this creative nickname…
