Description
The balance is established through a rigorous composition. The gaze follows sharp lines that structure the space. This acrylic painting explores the meeting between the letter and the form. The calligraphic gesture merges into precise geometry.
The orange dominates the canvas. This color saturates the background and highlights the cuts. The contrast with the beige brings immediate clarity. The artist is inspired by the masters of abstraction to purify their language.
Minimalism guides every angle. The shapes interlock like an architectural puzzle. The textile surface of the support adds a subtle texture to the whole. The precision of the stroke evokes a mathematical search. The result is a stable and harmonious image. The work unfolds in a square format where each segment dialogues with its opposite.
Presentation
Fadieses has always enjoyed drawing, but Life decided to make him go through the position of surveyor operator first. It was in his fifties that he chose to realize his childhood dream by settling down as a painter, thanks in part to the drastic restrictions due to Covid 19.
“He does Contemporary and Abstract to let people's sensitivity relate to Figurative" As Fadiese is curious, he tried different techniques: Drawing, Painting, Sculpture, Engraving, Illumination, Calligraphy, Marbling. These main influences are Vasarely, Duchamp, Mondrian, Klimt, Léger. He specialized in regular geometry, using only primary, secondary, and tertiary colors. On all supports: Plastic, Wood, Recycled Metal, Canvas, Cardboard etc…
One last thing: when he did his military service
(contingent 87/12), a music lover colleague nicknamed him Fadiese, and if like him, you haven't found out why, it turns out that it is the note closest to Sol! He found his strong, very nice humor and adopted this creative nickname…
