Description
Abstraction unfolds here through mathematical rigor. The gesture fades in favor of a millimeter-precise composition. A saturated yellow background welcomes a central motif of absolute clarity.
The structure plays on the intertwining of straight lines and sharp angles. This approach recalls research on regular geometry. The subtle chromatic contrast emphasizes the precision of the line.
The influence of minimalism guides every visual decision. The canvas becomes a space of balance where form dialogues with emptiness. The artist thus explores the relationship between calligraphy and architecture.
This acrylic painting relies on the purity of colors. The rendering is sharp, almost graphic. The whole exudes an ordered serenity. Attention is paid to the symmetry and repetition of the segments. The textile support reveals a fine grain beneath the layer of pigment.
Presentation
Fadieses has always enjoyed drawing, but Life decided to make him go through the position of surveyor operator first. It was in his fifties that he chose to realize his childhood dream by settling down as a painter, thanks in part to the drastic restrictions due to Covid 19.
“He does Contemporary and Abstract to let people's sensitivity relate to Figurative" As Fadiese is curious, he tried different techniques: Drawing, Painting, Sculpture, Engraving, Illumination, Calligraphy, Marbling. These main influences are Vasarely, Duchamp, Mondrian, Klimt, Léger. He specialized in regular geometry, using only primary, secondary, and tertiary colors. On all supports: Plastic, Wood, Recycled Metal, Canvas, Cardboard etc…
One last thing: when he did his military service
(contingent 87/12), a music lover colleague nicknamed him Fadiese, and if like him, you haven't found out why, it turns out that it is the note closest to Sol! He found his strong, very nice humor and adopted this creative nickname…
