Description
The "Anxiety" has been created as a part of the Pomegranate Collection collection, the second one that has been born in Berlin, where you can see Evgeniia's style transforming from a bit psychedelic still-life scenes into more graphic-looking and abstract work. She has introduced many new techniques and style elements like counter form, collage-looking elements and even lettering.
Presentation
With a brush in one hand and a paint tube in the other, Moscow-born and Berlin-based artist, Jenya Pestova creates not only figurative but abstract paintings that tap into concepts of self-reflexion and nature beauty through the use of multi-layered textures, colours, and organic and familiar shapes.
Her process is heavily influenced by her calligraphy works, botanical illustrations and her background in graphic design.
She follows her passion and creates a beautiful, messy creative life around it.
