Jeong Min Lee

Korean artist, Jeong Min Lee first trained in traditional painting. Living in France for a few years, she has retained her attachment to Korean culture through her pictorial technique. Indeed, Jeong Min Lee works on mounted paper, that is to say pasted on canvas. This very specific paper is traditionally made in Korea from mulberry leaves. The artist indeed appreciates the irregular and raw aspect of this support. Then she paints in ink. Again this is a technique rooted in Korean culture.
