Description
There are not many of them. Paintings of lighthouses are rare, and that is strange, because contemporary photographers love lighthouses — they are one of the most popular subjects.
In painting it is different.
Yet lighthouses in paintings by artists both famous and less known are always full of deep meaning. What is a lonely lighthouse? Above all, it is a light of hope and a chance of rescue in bad weather. So a painting in which a lighthouse shines its saving yellow lights through the night is not just a landscape but a canvas with a philosophical subtext.
My painted lighthouse will delight you with its brightness and airiness.
