Description
This exuberant artwork unfolds a scene of lush nature dominated by green hues, creating a visual symphony of emerald and jade. The rich texture of the paint lends the landscape a captivating depth, while bold touches of yellow illuminate the composition, evoking a delicate spring light. The harmoniously integrated blue of the sky provides a contrasting serenity and balances the surrounding vitality. The abstract nature allows for a free and stimulating interpretation, engaging the viewer in a sensual dialogue with the work. The fluid brushstrokes convey a sense of growth and spontaneity, capturing the very essence of ever-changing nature. Through this dynamic combination of colors and textures, the artist succeeds in conveying a vibrant energy and a sense of renewal—unique characteristics that powerfully define this painting.
Presentation
Nadine de Lespinats is a self-taught French painter, bronze medalist from the Academy of Arts Sciences Letters and listed in Akoun.
Her work lies at the intersection of abstraction, symbolism, and semi-figuration. Using oil paints, which she prefers to apply with a palette knife, she creates works of dense and vibrant texture, where color acts as a vehicle for emotion and inner resonance.
With the series Éternelles , the artist takes a new step in her artistic exploration. She incorporates framing devices into the very heart of the work and enriches its surfaces with the use of gold leaf, lace, and pearls. These precious elements establish a subtle dialogue between memory, matter, and light, while preserving the gestural force that constitutes the signature of her pictorial language.
