Description
It's a late morning in the countryside of Lins, state of Sao Paulo, Brazil. As the artist walks, alone on a small, poorly paved road between sugar cane fields, a smell as strong as it is unknown seizes her. The certainty of her origin pushes her to walk, to walk again under the dodger, as if astonished not to know and yet certain of knowing already.
There is not, in fact, a "worried dog" but vultures and, the poetry of Baudelaire more alive than ever.
Remember the object we saw, my soul,
This beautiful summer morning so sweet:
At the bend of a path an infamous carrion
On a bed strewn with pebbles,
Legs in the air, like a lustful woman,
Scorching and sweating poisons,
Opened in a nonchalant and cynical way
Her belly full of exhalations.
The sun shone on this rot,
As in order to cook it well,
And to give back to great Nature a hundredfold
Everything she had joined together;
And the sky looked at the superb carcass
Like a flower to blossom.
The stench was so strong, that on the grass
You thought you were fainting.
Flies buzzed over that putrid belly,
From which came black battalions
Of larvae, which flowed like a thick liquid
Along these living rags.
It all went down, went up like a wave,
Or sprang up, sparkling;
One would have said that the body, swollen with a vague breath,
Lived by multiplying.
And this world made strange music,
Like running water and wind,
Or the grain that a winnower of a rhythmic movement
Shake and turn in his van.
The forms were fading and were nothing more than a dream,
A slow draft to come,
On the forgotten canvas, and that the artist completes
Only by memory.
Behind the rocks a worried female dog
Looked at us with angry eyes,
Watching the moment to take back from the skeleton
The piece she had dropped.
- And yet you will be like this garbage,
To this horrible infection,
Star of my eyes, sun of my nature,
You, my angel and my passion!

After the last rites,

Presentation
"Bonpointism" could be her trademark because, born in an unmade bed of teachers in the land of Jaurès, she never stopped creating the images she dreamed of owning as a child.
The work, especially figurative, is aimed at people wishing to live daily with this particular breath in a corner of their living space. As the surface area of homes is shrinking especially in the city, the artist has thus been led to favor medium to small formats. His work, where the significance of an assertive design is concretized, is always carried out in the urgency of a creation that absolutely does not take into account the dictates of fashion or even his personal taste.
The color, the reliability of the line, the enhancement of a light inherent in each subject approached, allow us to recognize an appearance of naive appearance but carrying, perhaps by that very fact, an undeniable finesse in the understanding of our world and its underlying poetry.
The abundance of production and the versatility of the themes show an imaginary in perpetual boiling, nonetheless ordered by a certain rigor which, curiously, turns out not to be devoid of both humor and love.
