Description
A powerful encounter between earth and water. This oil painting on cardboard captures a rugged shoreline with visceral energy. Thick impasto strokes create a tactile surface. The artist applies pigment with confidence and speed. Bold yellows and deep ochres define the foreground rocks. These warm tones clash beautifully against the searing blues of the ocean.
The composition draws the eye toward a distant horizon. Muted purple mountains rise against a pale sky. This atmospheric perspective adds depth and a sense of solitude. Light plays across the jagged peaks in soft, lavender hues. The texture mimics the raw unpredictability of nature.
The approach is figurative yet deeply expressive. Every brushstroke feels intentional and rhythmic. It evokes the salty spray of the sea and the stillness of the cliffs. This artwork blends the strength of a mountain landscape with the fluidity of a seascape. It is a study of contrast and natural harmony. A serene balance is found in the intersection of stone and foam.
