Description
The artist in this series of "Versus" confronts the art of the great old masters and contemporary urban art. He superimposes them to create a most interesting alchemical work.
It is first of all a collage on canvas, on which the artist then intervenes - after having masked part of the mounted work - using street graffiti techniques. He then "unmasks" his tapes and part of the classic work reappears, the two universes are thus confronted and the magic happens.
Leasing on request from the gallery.

Presentation
Arnaud Puig was born in 1980 in Périgueux. He lives and works in Paris.
With his cheeky smile an his informed perspective, he walks the city streets with his digital camera, and the view finder is almost an extension of his right eye.
He lives the city and feels its beat. He observes the buildings, the streets, the sidewalks, the car lights, the bridges, the train lines, the passages, the streetlights, the posters on the walls?. After eight years of graffiti in Bordeaux, he is now an experienced urban explorer.
He explores Bordeaux and Paris, where he lives today, but he also travels the cities of the world: London, New-York, Rome, Venice...
