Description
This is the second painting in the new ongoing serie "Breeze". This is inspired by the wind touching the water. It looks like a waterfall coming down in confetti colors, orange pink and lilac and some neon. All the layers it is built of give this painting texture and depth. There is a great contrast between the dark colors and the light colors which give the composition harmony. Sides are painted in a light blue. Watch the video on the You Tube channel Art by Geesien Postema for a closer look! This artwork comes with a certificate of authenticity and is varnished and ready to hang. Pictures of this painting in situ are for display purpose only and might not show the artwork at realistic scale. Abstract Expressionism. This piece comes with an official certificate of authenticity signed by the artist. Ready to Hang. Signature Location: At the back at request on the front.

Artist Statement:
Artist statement
My paintings come from a fascination for landcape and nature in general. It is all around us, with it's beauty and growth everywhere and I love to recreate my own interpretation of this using unique, organic abstract forms.
Through my art I want to take the viewer on a journey to a place of peace, rest and away from the daily life, like an escape to a garden where the viewer can relax and be happy.
Through my use of different color palettes I want to evoke instinctive positive feelings for the viewer, to feel that personal connection with the artwork.
Painting gives me so much pleasure and I ultimately hope that the viewers can also find a sense of personal beauty through my art that conveys to their own happiness.
Video's of my artwork can be found on my youtube channel called Art by Geesien Postema.
