Description
This abstract waterscape painting is vibrant and dynamic, filled with a rich mix of colors and textures that evoke the movement and reflection often found in water. The lower part of the painting features cool tones like turquoise, teal, and various shades of blue, which likely represent water. These cool hues are layered with vertical streaks and blotches that give the impression of reflections or ripples. Moving upward, the color palette shifts dramatically to warmer tones, including pinks, oranges, yellows, and greens. These colors are applied in a more diffused, scattered manner, possibly symbolizing the play of light on a landscape or vegetation surrounding the water. The top portion blends into softer greens and purples, suggesting distant elements like trees or fields under a sky at either dawn or dusk. The painting's style is loose and impressionistic, with dabs of paint that create a sense of movement and energy. The use of color is both bold and subtle, with contrasts between the cool and warm areas, capturing the interplay between water, light, and landscape in an abstract form. The overall effect is one of serenity combined with the vibrancy of nature. The artist hopes that the bright colors might be uplifting for the viewer. Also that the view of a water surface might be calming and bring a peaceful mind. This painting is shipped in a tube. It is varnished and it is of high quality Belgium linnen. It comes with a certificate of authenticity. Pictures of the painting in situ are for display purpose only and might not show the painting at a realistic size.
Presentation
Artist Statement:
Artist statement
My paintings come from a fascination for landcape and nature in general. It is all around us, with it's beauty and growth everywhere and I love to recreate my own interpretation of this using unique, organic abstract forms.
Through my art I want to take the viewer on a journey to a place of peace, rest and away from the daily life, like an escape to a garden where the viewer can relax and be happy.
Through my use of different color palettes I want to evoke instinctive positive feelings for the viewer, to feel that personal connection with the artwork.
Painting gives me so much pleasure and I ultimately hope that the viewers can also find a sense of personal beauty through my art that conveys to their own happiness.
