Description
All soft colors in this painting. It has a calming and dreamy vibe with the sweet pastels in grey, green, blue, pink and a touch of (neon) orange. It is a contemporary and modern painting of abstract florals floating away in the wind, mesmerising, with lots of details to be seen, evoking feelings of a beautiful day with love and romance. Inspiration was found in nature, in gardens with flowers enjoying the sun. Additional pictures of the painting in-situ are for display purpose and might not show the painting at realistic scale. This painting is ready to hang and comes with a certificate of authenticity. A video of this painting can be seen at the You tube channel Art by Geesien Postema. Impressionist. This piece comes with an official certificate of authenticity signed by the artist :: Ready to Hang: Yes. Signature Location: At the back at request on the front.

Artist Statement:
Artist statement
My paintings come from a fascination for landcape and nature in general. It is all around us, with it's beauty and growth everywhere and I love to recreate my own interpretation of this using unique, organic abstract forms.
Through my art I want to take the viewer on a journey to a place of peace, rest and away from the daily life, like an escape to a garden where the viewer can relax and be happy.
Through my use of different color palettes I want to evoke instinctive positive feelings for the viewer, to feel that personal connection with the artwork.
Painting gives me so much pleasure and I ultimately hope that the viewers can also find a sense of personal beauty through my art that conveys to their own happiness.
